"The confidence I have gained within myself has been the most fulfilling"

I started at CrossFit Roar in September 2012, after reading an article in a magazine about it. I had absolutely no athletic background, but was keen to try something to get myself fit. Not only did I find that, but it also led me to some pretty solid friendships.
I did my intro session (and could barely change gears on the drive back home!) and then just dove right in to every class and didn’t look back. I love the strength that the training has given my body, but the confidence I have gained within myself has been the most fulfilling.
The trainers are some of the best people you will ever meet and are always there to motivate you and help you better yourself, whatever your goals are.
If you are worried about starting Crossfit or are worried you have to be fit to start, don’t be. When I started, I couldn’t even do a push up on my knees – I had to do them against a wall! Now I can do push ups on my toes with no problem – and I can do so much more as well.
